Bug ID: 481620 Summary: More floating panel customization Classification: Plasma Product: plasmashell Version: master Platform: unspecified OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: wishlist Priority: NOR Component: Panel Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org Reporter: franzikoni...@gmail.com CC: niccolo.venera...@gmail.com Target Milestone: 1.0 Since the addition of the floating panel in 5.25, there hasn't been a lot of customization regarding the behaivor and look of the floating panel. I want to request those features to be added in the newest KDE version: Firstly, there should be those options for the behaivor of the floating panel: - Always float: The floating panel should always float, and should not be unfloating when any window is under the panel or the window is maximized - Unfloat when window is under the floating panel or maximized (default): The floating panel should unfloat when a window is under the floating panel or the window gets maximized - Unfloat when window is maximized: The floating panel should unfloat when a window is maximized (fullscreen) Secondly, there should also be some customization on the floating panel like the gaps in px from the corner of the screen to the panel, or an option to keep the current maximized window the same gap size as the panel to the bottom of the screen.
