            Bug ID: 481059
Summary: [Request] Making Razor tool cut snappable
    Classification: Applications
           Product: kdenlive
           Version: git-master
          Platform: Flatpak
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: User Interface
          Assignee: j...@kdenlive.org
          Reporter: zcxv...@gmail.com
  Target Milestone: ---

In my workflow, I often cut strips into pieces, to give them different
transforming, effects or Subtitle content.
And often times, I'll need strips on different tracks to sync on the slice, and
the non-snappable Razor tool makes it a multiple steps tasks.
I'll have to zooming the timeline really hard to make the frame perfect cut, or
drag the strip multiple time to trigger auto snap afterwards.
This really adds up A LOT throughout a project. I just need it to cut right the
first click.

Basically, right now the Razor tool cut EXACTLY where your mouse lands,
and I really want it to auto snap onto cursor, other track's strips' beginning
and end.
Bonus point for option on what can trigger auto snap(cursor, strip start, strip
end, effects etc), slider for the range (pixels or frames for measuring) of
snapping taking place.
This would save me TREMENDOUS time, I'd be extremely appreciating. Thanks
ahead.
