After downgrading to 16.08.1 I realised the same happens for old version for
some reason. After spending few hours, I found a workaround:
Goto [Settings] >> [Configure Kdenlive] and then click [Defaults] button. Then
close kdenlive, open again, and should be fine for both 16.08.1 and 16.08.2
versions.
