SUMMARY
Can't make chromium and electron applications to run with more than 60 fps in a
165hz display
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Build plasma 6 with `kdesrc-build workspace`
2. Chose plasma 6 with wayland on sddm
OBSERVED RESULT
- Running `chromium` with XWayland will give 120fps at
https://www.vsynctester.com/
- Running `chromium --enable-features=UseOzonePlatform
--ozone-platform=wayland` will give 65-70fps (it was limited to ~60fps on
plasma 5)
- Running `chromium --enable-features=UseOzonePlatform --ozone-platform=wayland
--use-gl=egl` will give 65-70fps
EXPECTED RESULT
To have it running with 165fps.
