I can not import RAW formatted images by using darkTable.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. In the settings > RAW behaviour I set 'always open the Raw Import Tool to
customize settings' to 'Raw Import using DarkTable'
2. When trying to edit a Raw formatted picture (DNG) only a embedded jpeg
preview is opening
3.
OBSERVED RESULT
When opening / editing a Raw formatted picture DarkTable does not open
EXPECTED RESULT
I would expect that when trying to edit a Raw formatted picture in digiKam,
Darktable should open
