I have the exact same issue as OP. Black screen when using pipewire window or
display capture on OBS and other screenshare applications and task manager
window previews are empty.
not sure if relevent but here are the logs from systemctl --user status
plasma-xdg-desktop-portal-kde.service whenever the window choosing thing pops
up to choose what to screenshare:
