           Version: 24.01.80
          Platform: Arch Linux

  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY
***
This might be a duplicate of https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=405111, but I
am not sure about that and do have more detail, so I will put this into a new
bug report.

I just tried remote input from my arch linux plasma 6 euro layout laptop to my
arch linux plasma 6 de layout tablet and instead of the symbols I typed being
inserted, I got the de layout symbols of the keys I typed on my euro layout. So
for example "y[:/" became "züÖ-".
Additionally, I was not able to use the "Alt Gr" key, so I needed to copy and
paste the @ symbol.
***

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Have kdeconnect on two plasma 6 machines with different keyboard layouts
2. use remote input from one of them to the other

OBSERVED RESULT
The keyboard layout of the target system gets used without the ability to use
"Alt Gr"

EXPECTED RESULT
The keyboard layout of the input system gets used
