Of course I can.
I just added a screenshot of my panel settings and uploaded a whole screen
recording to https://kuchenmampfer.de/kde_bug_477826.mp4.
On that, I pointed my mouse on the dark area to make it easier to find.
I didn't have a window open on any of my nine two-monitor workspaces (arranged
as a 3x3 grid).
The panel is on the bottom edge of the upper monitor.
My global theme is Breeze Dark, colors are Material You Dark generated from my
wallpaper, the rest of the relevant visual stuff is breeze.
I do the workspace switching via touchpad gesture and the mouse pointing via my
external mouse.
And the plasmoids on my desktop are various configurations of the system
monitor plasmoid and modernclock, which I ported to plasma 6 today.
But I guess that is not really relevant xD
