I am using ibus xkb:us::eng and m17n:ru . While typing english is ok, after
switching to m17n:ru still english letters are input.
kwrite on the other hand works as expected.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. run kate
2. run ibus
3. switch input to english: ibus engine xkb:us::eng
4. type into kate
5. switch input to transliterated russian: ibus engine m17n:ru2:translit
6. type into kate
OBSERVED RESULT
The letters are not cyrillic.
EXPECTED RESULT
The letters shouzld be cyrillic as they are in kwrite.
