            Bug ID: 477711
Summary: Add custom option to eavesdrop with XWayland
    Classification: Applications
           Product: systemsettings
           Version: 5.27.9
          Platform: openSUSE
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: kcm_kwinxwayland
          Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org
          Reporter: adamplusp...@gmail.com
                CC: aleix...@kde.org
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY

Currently in "System Settings" -> "Applications" -> "Legacy X11 App Support"
it's only possible to use "Meta, Control, Alt and Shift keys", "All keys, but
only while Meta, Ctrl, Alt, or Shift keys are pressed" and "Always".

My suggestion would be to add an option where one could specify which keys (or
key combinations) one would like to use rather than selecting a preset. For
example: some people don't use the keys currently available in the options for
push-to-talk (or any other function in certain programs such as Discord) and
would rather use something like Caps Lock or the key to the left of 1.

The reason why I'm suggesting this instead of just using "Always" is because of
the warning that the setting will reduce the system security to that of an X11
session.
