It can be easily activated and deactivated with CTR+M. It must be an individual problem. As a test, you can rename or delete the folder "C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Local\kxmlgui5\digikam" if you have not defined any special toolbar settings or keyboard shortcuts.
