Bug ID: 477411 Summary: Youtube video in chrome started playing when laptop awakened on lock screen Classification: I don't know Product: kde Version: unspecified Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: unassigned-b...@kde.org Reporter: k...@flavor8.com Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY Unclear how this happened, but I will try to repro. Locked (and closed the screen of) the laptop overnight, with chrome as the focused application and a paused youtube video in the active tab. Opened the laptop lid in the morning. While still on lock screen, before I'd attempted to enter password or interacted with the screen at all, the youtube video started playing. Further, as a side bug, the volume keys did not work until I had logged in. This is a clear privacy issue. I can see the value of "audio _continues_ playing while screen is locked" (e.g. laptop is running the audio for a party) but a session which has been inactive for 8 or 9 hours has no business being able to send audio before being unlocked.
