Bug ID: 476518 Summary: Refresh Music Collection option clears down music list only Classification: Applications Product: Elisa Version: 21.12.3 Platform: Kubuntu OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: matthieu_gall...@yahoo.fr Reporter: promises...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- Created attachment 162849 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=162849&action=edit Screen shots of observations with elisa Refresh Music Collection SUMMARY *** NOTE: If you are reporting a crash, please try to attach a backtrace with debug symbols. See https://community.kde.org/Guidelines_and_HOWTOs/Debugging/How_to_create_useful_crash_reports *** STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open Elisa 2. Click on hamburger menu 3. Click on Refresh Music Collection 4. Scanning music appears in the top right and the track list cleared down 5. When Refresh music scanning has finished , all music has disappeared 6. Close Elisa 7. Open Elisa - music is imported OBSERVED RESULT After selecting the refresh music collection , the application clears down the current music collection but does not rebuild the list. Closing Elisa and opening Elisa imports the music correctly EXPECTED RESULT I would expect that the refresh option just rebuilds the list. If the observed result is the correct functionality then 1 - once the clear down has been done a message should be displayed explaining the next steps to the user 2 - the manual should reflect the correct way of working SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: macOS: Linux/KDE Plasma: (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: 5.24.7 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.92.0 Qt Version: 5.15.3 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Kubuntu 22.04 Kernel Version 5.15..0-88-generic (64 bit) Operating System: Kubuntu 22.04 KDE Plasma Version: 5.24.7 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.92.0 Qt Version: 5.15.3 Kernel Version: 5.15.0-88-generic (64-bit) Graphics Platform: X11 Processors: 4 × Intel® Core™ i5-3320M CPU @ 2.60GHz Memory: 11,6 GiB of RAM Graphics Processor: Mesa Intel® HD Graphics 4000 -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
