STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. On Ubuntu 20.04.6 LTS, install kate snap using sudo snap install kate
--classic
2. launch kate
OBSERVED RESULT
Systematic crash:
>$ kate
Segmentation fault (core dumped)
>$ dmesg
