As of today (21.10), it has been some time since the last Calligra release.
Since that time, there have been improvements, translation updates, but none
have been met with public. Adding Calligra Suite to the KDE Gear Suite would
help with a couple of aspects:
- It would represent a big news headline for the KDE Gear applications,
therefore pull some attention
- Improvements (albeit not many currently) would meet the general public more
frequently
- Translations would be regularly updated. Speaking for myself, I've been
waiting for nearly a year for my translation overhaul to ship.
- Frequent releases would also draw both attention from developers and
translators. Currently the project looks like it's abandoned.
