My pictures: - has no Captions / titles / Rating in the metadata (these are ONLY in digikam DB) After renaming operation (outside of digikam) -> same problem as comment #14 After your explanations and those of Maik, I understand that, since the file name is changed outside of digikam, it is difficult to "reassign" the proper Capions / Rating / ... to the proper pictures.
