            Bug ID: 474545
Summary: When dragging to desktop which type is Desktop (not
Folder View), the cursor is not shown prohibited
    Classification: Applications
           Product: ark
           Version: 23.08.0
          Platform: Other
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: elvis.angelac...@kde.org
          Reporter: ash...@linuxcomp.ru
                CC: aa...@kde.org, rthoms...@gmail.com
  Target Milestone: ---

If you drag something from archive over desktop, you may be surprised why it
does not drop things there in some cases. You can notice that when you are
dragging over pure desktop (not folder), then it highlights the "grid cells",
but after you drop, item is not copied to ~/Desktop.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Set your background widget as a Desktop (rmb on desktop | Setup Desktop and
Wallpaper | desktop type). If it is "Folder View", change to "Desktop".
2. Open some archive with Ark.
3. Drag some item from archive to the desktop area.
4. Observe cursor icon.

OBSERVED RESULT
The cursor icon is shown with "+" subicon. But when you drop the item, nothing
happens.

EXPECTED RESULT
The cursor should be shown with "striked circle/prohibited" subicon. So you
understand that your desktop does not work as a folder.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Operating System: Arch Linux
KDE Plasma Version: 5.27.8
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.110.0
Qt Version: 5.15.10
Graphics Platform: Wayland

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
If the desktop type is Folder, then it behaves as expected.
