            Bug ID: 474012
Summary: Feature Request: Allow device to be enabled for audio
                    only, not as a display
    Classification: Plasma
           Product: KScreen
           Version: 5.27.7
          Platform: Archlinux
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: common
          Assignee: kscreen-bugs-n...@kde.org
          Reporter: wafixa5...@poverts.com
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY
I have a receiver connected via HDMI that I use for audio output from my PC. I
don't wish it to show as a screen though because I do not use it that way. In
the display configuration I can move the device to the side of my monitor but
then sometimes windows open on the non visible screen and I can't snap my mouse
to the edge of the screen because it is extending the screen area beyond my
monitor. If I have the receiver "display" overlap my monitor it breaks
maximizing of windows.

Disabling the device in display configuration prevents audio output to the
device. So I'm hoping for a way to have the device enabled, but ignored as a
screen display.
