Bug ID: 473213 Summary: Keyboard Layout Selector has no layout detection wizard Classification: Applications Product: systemsettings Version: 5.27.7 Platform: Neon OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org Reporter: orangewi...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY Some users do not know what the "name" of their keyboard layout is (this is incredibly technical information). All Linux installers have some flavor of keyboard layout detection wizards (press various keys, and the installer tells you which layout the keyboard is using). It is, apparently, not possible to detect the keyboard layout after installation. This keyboard layout detection wizard should be added directly to plasma system settings.
