Bug ID: 473052 Summary: System monitor grid style widget doesn't apply configured update interval to sensors Classification: Applications Product: ksysguard Version: 5.27.7 Platform: Archlinux OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: Plasmoid / Applet Assignee: ksysguard-b...@kde.org Reporter: zini.fin+...@gmail.com CC: plasma-b...@kde.org Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY "System monitor Sensor" widget that has a "Display Style" of "Grid" doesn't apply configured update interval ("Minimum Time Between Updates" in the Appearance config page) to the configured sensors. Other styles obey the interval (e.g. 1 second instead of the default (?) 0.5 seconds). STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Add a new "System monitor Sensor" widget to the Plasma desktop 2. Configure the widget with any sensor and set the "Display Style" under "Appearance" to be "Grid" 3. Set the "Minimum Time Between Updates" to something other than the default "No Limit", e.g. "2 seconds" 4. Observe that the widget updates as fast as possible, not obeying the configured update interval OBSERVED RESULT Sensor values in the Grid Display Style update as fast as possible (same as "No Limit" in "Minimum Time Between Updates"). EXPECTED RESULT Sensor values in the Grid Display Style update at the rate configured in "Minimum Time Between Updates".
