Another easy way of reproducing it:
Hover on some task on task manager
Wait for the window preview to show up
Quickly alt tab couple of times (I have cover task switcher)
Alt+Tab must be quick so cover task switcher is not able to show up, but you
just switch tasks
Panel will stop updating/refreshing after a few tabs.
