Bug ID: 472203
Summary: UI improvements
Classification: Applications
Product: digikam
Version: unspecified
Platform: Other
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
Severity: wishlist
Priority: NOR
Component: general

Target Milestone: ---
What kind of policy do you have to user interface usability improvements?
There seems to be some kind of "modular" thinking in UI - quite lot of things
can be achieved but often you have to dig into before being able to access
these features - like in geotagging and using scripts you have to open separate
window for editing/using them, while some things like tagging and filters are
quite accessible at sidebar.
There's existing very old suggestion about possibility to edit locations at
sidebar
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=184833
and I have recently suggested having scripts available at right click context
menu
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=471492
I'm unfortunately unable to help in coding, only to suggest/evaluate/test such
features.
