But... to correct myself, it's only almost(!) invisible and I can now spot it, even on my screenshot posted. Guess my theme (which is standard though) makes the text very light. So I have to admit, I might actually to dumb to just hit that button. The closing of the system notification did not succeed in stopping the alarm. That is, if one closes the system notification with the "X" like I did. If one just clicks on the notification itself, you are correct. Again, user error in some sense.
