Bug ID: 471039 Summary: Firefox doesn't show in krunner search, even when it looks to be installed Classification: KDE Neon Product: neon Version: unspecified Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: Live/Install images Assignee: neon-b...@kde.org Reporter: publiclyvisibleem...@gmail.com CC: j...@jriddell.org, neon-b...@kde.org, sit...@kde.org Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY *** NOTE: If you are reporting a crash, please try to attach a backtrace with debug symbols. See https://community.kde.org/Guidelines_and_HOWTOs/Debugging/How_to_create_useful_crash_reports *** STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Press Meta key to call up menu krunner search, (on KDE Neon Unstable iso, which shows Firefox as installed, with icons in the lower panel and in the menu itself) 2. Start typing "firefox" (happens everytime) 3. OBSERVED RESULT Two other programs / icons start to load as "firefox" is typed, but Firefox itself isn't one of them EXPECTED RESULT Expected the Firefox icon to show up so that I could just press Enter and launch the application, (as I would on Gnome - i.e. on Gnome (44) to start Firefox, I hit Meta, type "fir" (which is usually enough) and press Enter to open a new Firefox window, (with fmuellner's Launch new instance extension).
