The video indicates that you're clicking on icons in the *preview* of the
active Task Switcher, not the real thing. The *preview* isn't expected to
function the way the real thing does. It's a preview, nothing more.
Is that the issue you're reporting? Or are you reporting that the *real* Task
Switcher that opens when you hit the Alt+Tab shortcut doesn't switch windows
when you click on its items?
