I will be making a donation shortly. Well done to all involved. My only criticism is that is is a bit "clunky". I'm running this on a very fast computer with an excess of both volatile and non-volatile memory that I designed and had made for AI processing of photographic images. On a more regular computer specification the time taken say between map magnifications would be quite long. As a suggestion maybe you could restrict the total map size to twice the area over which the images were taken? If it would be of use I would be happy to write up a simple guide as to how to display geotagged images. This would be a simple illustrated document that anybody new to digiKam would be able to follow without bug reporting etc. - Let me know if you are interested.
