Bug ID: 470681 Summary: breeze-icon-theme package not installed by default on Neon Unstable (June 4th, 2023) Classification: KDE Neon Product: neon Version: unspecified Platform: Other OS: Other Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: Live/Install images Assignee: neon-b...@kde.org Reporter: guimarcalsi...@gmail.com CC: j...@jriddell.org, neon-b...@kde.org, sit...@kde.org Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY Basically I wanted to test Plasma 6 on a virtual machine using Neon Unstable. The image I downloaded was dated June 4th, 2023. Unfortunately, the breeze-icon-theme package is not installed in that image. If you boot it up in a live environment or install it, most icons will be missing. If after installing you do 'sudo apt install breeze-icon-theme' and then select the icon theme in System Settings, it works as expected. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Download Neon Unstable from June 4th, 2023 (This is the only image I tested) 2. Boot in live mode OBSERVED RESULT Icons will be missing EXPECTED RESULT breeze-icon-theme should be installed by default.
