In my testing not even Gnome supports X-GNOME-Autostart-Delay any more.
If you want to delay the start of a certain app you can write a script that
starts the app after sleeping for the desired amount of time.
That said it seems like you want to use this to work around application bugs.
Please report these to the application developers so that they can get properly
addressed.
