Bug ID: 469568 Summary: In Plasma 6 with a floating panel, input redirecting around empty areas fails if the cursor is farther than the default drag distance Classification: Plasma Product: plasmashell Version: master Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Keywords: qt6 Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: Panel Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org Reporter: n...@kde.org CC: niccolo.venera...@gmail.com Target Milestone: 1.0 STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Be in Plasma 6 2. Make your panel floating 3. Move cursor all the way to screen edge near a Task Manager icon and click OBSERVED RESULT Task Manager icon starts to get dragged EXPECTED RESULT Task Manager icon activated SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: Fedora Linux 38 KDE Plasma Version: 5.27.80 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.240.0 Qt Version: 6.5.0 Kernel Version: 6.2.14-300.fc38.x86_64 (64-bit) Graphics Platform: offscreen Processors: 8 × Intel® Core™ i7-10510U CPU @ 1.80GHz Memory: 15.2 GiB of RAM Graphics Processor: Mesa Intel® UHD Graphics ADDITIONAL INFORMATION If I move the cursor two pixels closer to the panel, it works properly. So a horrible hacky workaround could be to increase the global drag distance. This is a minor Fitts' Law violation. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
