I do not understand this video: On the one hand there are few UX interactions
that can qualify as excruciatingly slow at under 3 seconds. On the other hand,
the bug title includes "construction" but the video is not while in
construction mode (i.e., the mode after you press any tool on the left).
I think one big difference between your setup and mine might be the resolution:
what resolution do you have? is it high DPI? are you able to test the UX on a
lower resolution and confirm the behavior?
