            Bug ID: 468767
Summary: Specifying different default browsers for different
                    URLs
    Classification: Applications
           Product: systemsettings
           Version: 5.27.4
          Platform: Neon
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org
          Reporter: p.wibber...@btinternet.com
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY
***
System Settings.Applications.Default Applications allows you to set a default
web browser. Would it be possible to specify a different web browser to open
specific URLs (or URLs conforming to specified patterns)?

For example, I want to have Firefox as the browser to open most URLs. However,
if someone sends me a URL for a Microsoft Teams meeting (which, as far as I can
tell, all begin "https://teams.microsoft.com/l/meetup-join";) then I would like
to specify Chrome instead. Moreover, I have the Teams Progressive Web
Application (PWA) installed in Chrome, and ideally I would like to be able to
specify that any Teams meeting URL is opened using the Chrome Teams PWA rather
than just the general Chrome browser.

(NB While System Settings.Applications.File Associations allows you to specify
different applications for different file extensions, I don't see any
equivalent for URLs.)

Thanks and regards
