Bug ID: 468620 Summary: Akregator notifications in XFCE show some HTML code Classification: Applications Product: akregator Version: 5.22.3 Platform: Fedora RPMs OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: kdepim-b...@kde.org Reporter: cqu...@arcor.de Target Milestone: --- Created attachment 158169 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=158169&action=edit Screenshot showing bad formatted notification SUMMARY The notifications of akregator in XFCE show some HTML tags that make it difficult to understand the notification. The attachment akregator_notify.png shows an example. In principle those tags are not supported as part of the notification markup language (https://specifications.freedesktop.org/notification-spec/latest/ar01s04.html), which is why the XFCE notification daemon displays them verbatim. I attach a patch that fixes the issue by using only the tags allowed by the notification specification markup language. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Use Akregator under XFCE. 2. Enable notifications to a feed. 3. Observe desktop notification. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: Debian Bullseye KDE Frameworks Version: 5.78.0 Qt Version: 5.15.2 -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
