            Bug ID: 467930
Summary: kinfocenter does not properly call graphics info
                    commands
    Classification: Applications
           Product: kinfocenter
           Version: 5.27.3
          Platform: Kubuntu
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: minor
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org
          Reporter: ltstarwars...@gmail.com
                CC: sit...@kde.org
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY

kinfocenter does not properly call eglinfo or vulkaninfo

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open kinfocenter
2. Go to graphics
3. Click on either OpenGL (EGL) or Vulkan tab

OBSERVED RESULT

OpenGL (EGL) displays as top two lines:

amdgpu_device_initialize: amdgpu_query_info(ACCEL_WORKING) failed (-13)
amdgpu: amdgpu_device_initialize failed.

Vulkan displays as top line:

WARNING: [Loader Message] Code 0 : terminator_CreateInstance: Failed to
CreateInstance in ICD 3. Skipping ICD.

This differs from when user enters associated commands in bash, which does not
display these.

EXPECTED RESULT

Same result as when user enters associated commands in bash

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Operating System: Kubuntu 22.10
KDE Plasma Version: 5.27.3
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.104.0
Qt Version: 5.15.6
Kernel Version: 6.2.8-060208-generic (64-bit)
Graphics Platform: Wayland
Processors: 16 × AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D 8-Core Processor
Memory: 31.2 GiB of RAM
Graphics Processor: GFX1100
Product Name: X570 Creator

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
The GFX1100 is an RX 7900 XTX, but current stable Mesa drivers do not properly
list it's name yet. Product name as generated by systemsettings is mobo model.

There seems to be some problem passing environment variables to and/or from
some standard user utility functions currently (e.g. ksystemlog not being
properly passed all relevant environment variables unless called in bash by the
user), so this may be another example.
