Bug ID: 467815 Summary: External display runs at 60 Hz in a Wayland session. Classification: Plasma Product: kwin Version: 5.27.3 Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: wayland-generic Assignee: kwin-bugs-n...@kde.org Reporter: pepk...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- Created attachment 157589 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=157589&action=edit drminfo --all output For the background, I use a Legion 5 AMD with 4800H cpu and RTX 2060 driving external display. Display is a 1440p display running at 165 Hz. I logged in to a Wayland session to see how's the progress and what struck me immediately was that framerate was not what I set in systemesttings. It's running at 60Hz, how do I know? mouse ghosting gaps, and preceived sluggishness from going to a lower framerate screen.
