Bug ID: 467229 Summary: Bars in system monitor are sometimes filled from left to right Classification: Plasma Product: plasma-systemmonitor Version: 5.27.2 Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: ksysguard-b...@kde.org Reporter: david.cortes.riv...@gmail.com CC: ahiems...@heimr.nl, plasma-b...@kde.org Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY In the previous sytem monitor (ksysguard) and in KDE widgets, the bars that indicate resource usage are filled from right to left, while in system monitor, they are sometimes filled in reverse order - that is, if there is a spike, the spike will first appear from the right of the bar, and move towards the left over time; but in the new system monitor it's the other way around some times. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Launch the system monitor. 2. Open a process that would consume a large amount of CPU resources. 3. Watch the CPU bar consumption. OBSERVED RESULT Sometimes, it fills from right to left, sometimes from left to right, at times it disappears and then shows up again. EXPECTED RESULT Should always show them from right to left like it works in other places, and should keep showing them persistently.
