Bug ID: 467228 Summary: Resource usage bars get randomly swapped between processes Classification: Plasma Product: plasma-systemmonitor Version: 5.27.2 Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: ksysguard-b...@kde.org Reporter: david.cortes.riv...@gmail.com CC: ahiems...@heimr.nl, plasma-b...@kde.org Target Milestone: --- Created attachment 157201 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=157201&action=edit bar_is_for_wrong_process SUMMARY If I have many processes spawning and closing, the system monitor at times will put the resource usage bars under the wrong process. See attached screenshot where the bars for "qemu" and "xorg" are swapped with each other. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Launch system monitor. 2. Launch some process that would consume a large amount of resources. 3. Start opening and closing apps while keeping an eye on the processes page in the system monitor. OBSERVED RESULT At random times, will swap the usage bars for some applications that have nothing in common. EXPECTED RESULT Should show the bars correctly.
