Bug ID: 467021 Summary: Cannot close GTK window from top-right corner Classification: I don't know Product: kde Version: unspecified Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: unassigned-b...@kde.org Reporter: david.cortes.riv...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY In KDE window themes like breeze and oxygen, if I maximize a window and position the mouse at the top-right corner of the screen, it will put the "X" button on focus. Thus, if I want to close a maximized app, I can conveniently move the mouse to that corner without aiming for the button, and click to close it. However, in GTK apps that have the titlebar merged with the app window, the "X" button doesn't cover the top-right pixel, so clicking on that corner of a maximized such window does nothing. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Launch some GTK app that merges the titlebar into the app window, such as "gedit" or "evolution". 2. Maximize the window of said app. 3. Position the mouse at the top-right corner of the screen. 4. Click. OBSERVED RESULT Nothing happens. EXPECTED RESULT Should close the app. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: Debian GNU/Linux 12 KDE Plasma Version: 5.27.2 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.103.0 Qt Version: 5.15.8 Kernel Version: 6.1.0-5-amd64 (64-bit) Graphics Platform: X11 Processors: 20 × 12th Gen Intel® Core™ i7-12700H Memory: 62.6 GiB of RAM Graphics Processor: Mesa Intel® Graphics Manufacturer: SLIMBOOK Product Name: Executive ADDITIONAL INFORMATION -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
