Bug ID: 465791 Summary: File rename does not work correctly if a single file is selected. Classification: Applications Product: digikam Version: 7.10.0 Platform: Microsoft Windows OS: Microsoft Windows Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: AdvancedRename-metadata Assignee: digikam-bugs-n...@kde.org Reporter: j...@acm.org Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY *** NOTE: If you are reporting a crash, please try to attach a backtrace with debug symbols. See https://community.kde.org/Guidelines_and_HOWTOs/Debugging/How_to_create_useful_crash_reports *** STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. In the Album view, select a single file. (May require a single file in an album, I'm not certain about this point). Must have Exif.Image.DateTimeOriginal set in the file. 2. Right click and select Rename... 3. Type "Taken " 4. Click the Metadata button. 5. Search for and select DateTimeOriginal in the EXIF tab. 6. Click on OK. 7. Click on Number. 8. Make it 4 digits long. 9. Note that the preview is wrong. (Taken 1) 10. Do the rename. 11. Note the file rename is wrong. (Same as the preview (Taken 1). OBSERVED RESULT Renamed to "Taken 1" EXPECTED RESULT Renamed to "Taken 1987_04_01_00_00_0001" Note that the actual time stamp would be different for different files. This is just an example file name.
