Bug ID: 465673 Summary: When creating a new event, the default calendar should be the actual default Classification: Applications Product: kalendar Version: 22.12.2 Platform: Neon OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: claudio.cam...@kde.org Reporter: sephiroth...@hotmail.it CC: c...@carlschwan.eu Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY When creating a new event, the calendar selected is the last one used instead of the default one. This holds true even when closing and re-opening the application. This appears to defeat the point of having a default calendar, though. While it is good to have the last-used calendar selected in the same session, this shouldn't be the case if you open and close the application, or even reboot the computer. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Set calendar A as default. 2. Create event with calendar B. 3. Close Kalendar. 4. Reopen Kalendar. 5. Create a new event. OBSERVED RESULT Calendar B is selected even if it is not the default one. EXPECTED RESULT Calendar A is selected, as it is marked as default. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux: KDE neon KDE Plasma Version: 5.26.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.102.0 Qt Version: 5.15.8 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
