Bug ID: 465248 Summary: Show GPU/VRAM usage for processes Classification: Plasma Product: plasma-systemmonitor Version: 5.26.5 Platform: Archlinux OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: ksysguard-b...@kde.org Reporter: gudvinr+...@gmail.com CC: ahiems...@heimr.nl, plasma-b...@kde.org Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY Currenly there is no way to track GPU usage for different applications neither in old ksysguard nor new plasma-systemmonitor. It is quite important because in KDE, there is basically no easy way to see which process consumes GPU resources, thus it could be frustrating for users who e.g. experience performance issues but they see 0% CPU usage. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: Arch Linux KDE Plasma Version: 5.26.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.102.0 Qt Version: 5.15.8 Kernel Version: 6.1.9-zen1-1-zen (64-bit) Graphics Platform: Wayland Graphics Processor: AMD Radeon RX Vega M GL Graphics ADDITIONAL INFORMATION There is https://github.com/Syllo/nvtop that does exactly this and has support for Nvidia/AMD atm. It could be used as the reference on how to obtain data. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
