Anyway, I'll do some test on my CR3 files. Can you attach a CR3 file (just to verify that there are no different types of cr3 files)? PS: latest version of KIO thumbnailer (used by Dolphin) does not create previews if the stimated memory usage is too high (grater than 1/3 of availble free ram).
