Thanks. I think this is intentional since the panel begins to become
transparent when Overview opens. If you're holding down the shortcut, it's
repeatedly opening and closing really fast and never leaving that state. So...
don't do that. :)
FWIW on my system with Wayland, holding it down doesn't repeatedly open and
close it.
