Bug ID: 463108 Summary: The "Keep Display Configuration?" popup urgently needs to grab more attention to not be overlooked Classification: Applications Product: systemsettings Version: 5.26.4 Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: kcm_kscreen Assignee: kscreen-bugs-n...@kde.org Reporter: cysli...@posteo.de CC: plasma-b...@kde.org Target Milestone: --- Created attachment 154620 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=154620&action=edit Popup blends in too much with background setting panel I have multiple monitors and change settings regularly, for example when sharing a screen with co-workers. The new popup is an important improvement, but it also is a bit stealthy. I often am not aware of this popup and settings revert against my will. Which is really really disturbing and annoying. So I would like this popup to be more prominent and harder to miss. Either by coloring, or most preferred by darkening the background globally with the popup in focus. See my screenshot how this popup blends in with the dialog beneath which makes me miss it each time given the whole real estate of my monitors. Don't forget that the whole monitors flicker and turn of and on, while the popup comes into existence. Who knows maybe adding a delay to when it opens, so monitors are back when it does, already would be enough. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
