Although I find it annoying to have to enter my name for the fits file every time I restart the program, there is nothing like KStars / EKOS that comes close to consideration. One day I will ask the forum how I can turn off all automatic updates, even on Ubuntu Mate as they ruin many hours of possible capture. I’m sorry that our (southern hemisphere) imaging is different to the northern hemisphere, but my issues were due to me losing a windows 7 pc power supply and my QSI 683 is having needed maintenance.
