As far as I have understood (and tested, actually): - You start with a set of grouped image - You edit one of them - Saving the edited image, if it is the first time you edit it, creates a new version anyway - When a new version is created, by default, the original group disappears (just like, in case of single image the original image disappears) - You can anyway restore the visibility of the original image(s) by disabling the option to hide the original images IMO, it's not a bug.
