Bug ID: 460978 Summary: Plasma fails to start with Kernel 6.0.3 Classification: Plasma Product: plasmashell Version: 5.26.1 Platform: OpenSUSE OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: crash Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org Reporter: pos...@posteo.eu CC: k...@davidedmundson.co.uk Target Milestone: 1.0 Created attachment 153192 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=153192&action=edit Journalctl log SUMMARY Since updating from kernel 6.0.2 to 6.0.3 on openSUSE TW, KDE Plasma 5.26.1 X11 and Wayland fails to start, after logging in from SDDM: * The cursor works, but no panel shows up, the desktop starts to freeze (becomes gray after a while). * Pressing CTRL+ALT+DEL opens the power-management overlay, where logging out works * Shutting down the computer does not work after having logged in once, but takes infinitely long and requires a forced shut down Going back to kernel 6.0.2 fixes the issue. I first have reported it here now. Should I report it upstream to openSUSE instead?
