Bug ID: 460265 Summary: [WAYLAND] 1 pixel high gap between application content and window decoration Classification: Plasma Product: kwin Version: unspecified Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: kwin-bugs-n...@kde.org Reporter: xna...@hydra-development.net Target Milestone: --- Created attachment 152720 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=152720&action=edit example of the bug using Dolphin & FFXIV SUMMARY On Plasma Wayland (NVIDIA in my case), there is a 1 pixel high gap between window decorations and application content. This becomes apparent when the background application changes the mouse cursor (I highlight the bug using FFXIV as an example). This gap is not just cosmetic, it is also functional, meaning if you position the mouse cursor in that gap, you can click through to the window that's behind (also showcased in the video). STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Pick any window decoration (I used Breeze) 2. Pick any non-CSD application 3. Position the mouse cursor exactly in the spot where the window decoration stops (use a background window that changes the mouse cursor for an easy visual aid) 4. Left click OBSERVED RESULT The window in front is "clicked through" and the window in the back is focused. EXPECTED RESULT The window in front absorbs the click.
