STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. enable PDF preview (maybe)
2. leave everything normal
3. open Kate
OBSERVED RESULT
It takes like 20 seconds to open on my machine, while Kwrite works very fast

Loading as fast as other programs. No huge cache or anything should be a po
