            Bug ID: 459133
Summary: Dr. Konqi cannot generate backtrace because
python-sentry is not installed on KDE Neon Unstable
           Product: drkonqi
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Neon
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: backtraceparsing
          Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org
          Reporter: guimarcalsi...@gmail.com
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY

My Plasma crashed but I couldn't generate a bug report because it couldn't load
the backtrace. I don't know if this is Neon (unstable) specific or not, but Dr.
Konqi cannot generate a backtrace because python-sentry is not installed. This
could be the offending change that caused the issue:
https://invent.kde.org/plasma/drkonqi/-/merge_requests/65#note_481080

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Access Dr. Konqi
2. Load a backtrace

OBSERVED RESULT

It cannot make a backtrace and shows the message: python sentry-sdk not
installed :(

EXPECTED RESULT

That dependency should be installed in KDE Neon. It would also be good if
distros could be made aware this is necessary.
