Hmm, the problem seems to be that the Mint-Y-Dark-Red icon theme lacks many
icons that Okular needs. Therefore icons from an icon theme that is optimized
for light background seems to be used. If the Mint-Y-Dark-Red icon theme is
selected, then it should switch to another dark icon theme as fallback. Not
sure whether this is a problem of Mint or in Okular (resp. the underlying
libraries) or a gap in the icon theme specification.
